Scott,
What's the story on the identical twin Searey on the right of the photo? Our Reno FAA gives us 100 nm radius for flight testing, so we can try out all the airports, and in the Searey, all the lakes! The flight testing has been the most fun part of the whole Searey project. Enjoy!

    John,
I like the searey so much I thought I would have two of them. One to Fly one to work on. Just Kidding.... To tell you the truth I don't know who owns that Ship. I was told the guy is learning how to fly get his ticket and than take delivery.
The DAR I use is very generous and give us a large radius as well. Im really looking forward in taking a couple of weeks off and do the flight testing.

I hope this time next year I will sitting out there on that lake bed with you and a Cold one.

Scott, hope you did not get a dud of an engine. My 912S is sitting at Lockwood waiting to hear from ROTAX. 2.8 hours and was ready to fly apart.

    Charlie,
Sorry about your luck, I have a 912S on my Gyro and had wonderful luck with it. Hope to have the same with the 914 in the searey..

One of those long leggedy beasties, I see! But about having legal fun--just wait until your SeaRey is flying and see what you think then.
