    Could just be they picked a bad place to grow, Bill. Beaches are dynamic places, changing all the time. It obviously wasn't the Corpse of Engineers that planted these or we'd have stone breakwaters and billion dollar beach restoration projects underway here! It is amazing that these guys are hanging on in salt saturated sand.
