Description: About the same time Loving Field was closed, New River Valley Airport (PSK) opened. Not to shabby, 6,200 foot runway with ILS and even an customs office for international flights. Nice place to maintain tailwheel currency. WHEELS DOWN GROUND!!!

    Well Don, actually I spent most of the day blowing leaves. (You remember how I blow leaves?) At the end of a tough day of leaf blowing, it we time to ENJOY a beautiful day. It was late in the day with the sun low in the west. Doing stop and goes on runway 6. I saw the shadow on the first approach and decided I needed to have the camera out the next time around. God set it up. I was just in the right place at the right time. Guess you would call that lucky
