Nice. What speed does it like when landing? How much runway do you need?

I don't see the floats in the picture- anyway that is one slick plane

    Nice looking airplane, Larry!

Ah, but divide all of those numbers by 3, add floatation, move the wing and prop out of sight, fix the canopy so you can fly with your elbows out in the breeze, and you'll have a SeaRey, with the same mpg and three times as long to enjoy being up in the air.

(Okay, so I'm biased.)

    Hi Don:

LOL!!

My A-24 looks after my water-borne, elbows-out-in-the-breeze needs.
Mind you, the weather up here sure makes it 'hard' (lousy pun) to do that during the winter. (g)

best,
Larry
Yeah, I've been following your postings about the A-24, Larry. It looks pretty nifty and plenty rugged. The prop's on the wrong end of the engine, though. Tsk.

    Hi Dennis:

I use 85 knots as my approach speed. Touchdown is typically 65 knots. Our single strip airport has a 2900 foot runway. It was 2600 feet until recently. I am comfortable landing it on a runway sporting 2500 feet of length or more.

Best,
Larry
