Description: What would a tour of Orlando be without a visit to the mouse kingdom. Flat Jack didn’t worry about the three mile wide restricted zone. We flew overhead at 3005’. Even Flat Jack could see that the restricted zone has nothing to do with security.

    Departing Kissimmee on an IFR flight plan in VMC, ATC routed me right <br />over the Kingdom but I didn't have <br />enough interest to check the altimeter; nor did I have my good camera.<br /><br />Great shot Dan!

    My experience is that ATC likes to send you over Disney at whatever altitude you happen to be at. I think they aren't thrilled about the airspace being purchased by lobbyists either.

    What cynics we have on our site! Carl Hiiasen has a new book out for us cynical Floridians. 3005' my foot. I happen to know you violated the airspace by dipping down to 2998'. I'm calling the Celebration Police Department!
