I use 123.45 for communication with 'Turtle Radio' here in Picton. In June of 2002, the North Atlantic air to air freq was changed from 132.8 to 123.45. It sometimes gets quite interesting when a couple of ' heavys' are overhead at FL 330 and yaking away .They all agree that I am having more fun.....but earning much less money.

I tried that, Mark. It turned out that Prior was monitoring 122.85, the unpublished frequency used at his airpark, because there were several ultralights aloft in the area just then. Next time I'll know.

Dave, my un-favorite frequency in SE Virginia is 123.05, which is used by both Chesterfield (my home field) and Chesapeake. Try saying those names aloud in a noisy environment.
