Hi Tom:<br /><br />A fellow 'ice-boater' (g)<br /><br />Had my last water landing on January 12. Temperature was right at freezing. I flew over to my favorite spot on the Grand river and made a few landings. I did collect a tiny bit of ice on the hull after takeoff. No ice in the water though. <br /><br />This last few days, 'normal' Canadian winter has returned. Temperature tonight is down to zero F. Ponds and rivers now freezing up quickly and solidly. Sigh.<br /><br />Great pictures and appreciate seeing someone else 'pushing ice'. (g)<br /><br />Best,<br />Larry

I have seen one Searey that looked like it took a shotgun blast to the H.Stab because the fist owner used the SeaRey to break ice and fly, Right Bill W
