Description: This afternoon I made a survey of the new Sun N’ Fun Lake Parker Splash
In location. The new spot is now at the South end of the lake as per the
SNF web site. I made a landing in the lake and taxied into the small bay
at the South end of the lake. The water is still deep enough to taxi with the
wheels down in the bay and up to the shore line at the South end of the bay.
The SNF web site description of location for this years seaplane splash in as
follows:
Location: Lake Parker southwest shore, undeveloped land point one east side of small bay with
overflow traffic in front of Sweet Dreams Motel and First Baptist Church at the Mall, which is
6 nm northeast of Lakeland Linder Field.

Russ, Lake Parker is out of Lakeland's airspace. Is there any radio freq monitored for lade parker? Also, is there any ground transportaion shuttle from Lake Parker to SNF. That was some pretty good radio range yesterday. Phil and I were just south of lake Harney at 1000ft.

Thanks, Russ! Too bad that boat ramp is so narrow. Does it look to you as though a SeaRey might be safe if tied up overnight at the motel?
