Where the Intracoastal Waterway becomes the sound. (I don't remember which sound it is right here, but this is looking northwest anyway, in the general direction of the Dismal Swamp, Lake Drummond, and (ahem) Blackwater.

Frank, here's where Lowrance gets a free plug: My Airmap 2000c comes with nautical navigation feature--buoys, and the like. (Depths cost extra.) The Viking and I made good use of that data when feeling our way to shore in dense fog on Lake Michigan, a while back. The Lowrance enabled us to find a channel when nothing else we had showed it.

It's funny, the Garmin 386/486 looks exactly like what Garmin sells for boats. Until you turn it on. You would think they could sell it with the software for planes and boats, but they don't.
