Description: This isn't much of a picture, really, but it seems--to me--to suggest one kind of connection to the world that I often experience flying the SeaRey. At any rate, this was the last photo I took on a flight that lasted 4.6 Hobbes hours, FCI-2VA3-QNX-Lake Chesdin-2VA3-FCI. And at the end I didn't want to come down.

I don't think they are ducks, however thanks for all the nice pics.

May not be ducks, per se, but I suppose they're headed your way, Dave.

Maybe geese, Dave. Here's the best I could make of that shot (and it's the best of six shots):

They were V-ed up better when I first saw them. Flying from left to right. Long necks--could be geese, although the wingtips appear to be pointed more like ducks'. Attachments:

Where was the splashin Don? I could have taken all those pictures from my (former) Cherokee 6.

Aw, sorry, Jeff! The only splash was at the west end of Lake Chesdin. It was almost dark by then and the water, glassy, so I didn't take time to reach for the camera. When we were out at the Outer Banks, the wind was about 15G25 across the beach, so it seemed prudent not to land there.
