Description: It turned out that there were a few disadvantages to staying at the Sweet Dream motel for Sun 'n Fun. On the other hand, how many other motels are there with a bunch of seaplanes tied up at the dock and the lake shore? That made up for a lot.

The building you see most of in the background is next door to the motel. A corner of the Sweet Dreams is visible at the far left. But the dock and deck belong to it. I took this photo from the big seaplane splash-in site, on a point northeast of the motel.

It turns out that the big-seaplane and small-seaplane splash-ins are organized by (very!) different people, who don't seem to get along swimmingly. Both groups are distinct from the Sun 'n Fun management. One group had highly organized events, including an evening banquet, and the other prefered to facilitate hanging out on a different day and at the other end of the lake.
