    Dan Smith had some trouble one day with his tailwheel, so wired it up. He liked the fact that it never gave him any problem in that position, so he left it that way. He says that in that position it acts as a water attitude indicator, in that if his attitude is to nose high the tailwheel hitting the water will let him know.
