Thanks John. Yes we all had a great time. It was wonderfull for the 1st time to meet most of the other Aussie Searey owners and what a great bunch of people they are !!. We had a few gun photographers within our crew, therefore we collected over 500 excellent photos of our trip.

I always wandered about those AN4 bolts ataching the wings at the root. Looks thin for such a stressful point. On the other hand they sustain water landings well.<br /> Shopud they be AN5?

Ed, we have seen Searey’s take 6 g impacts and still stay attached in fatal crashes, like you I wondered about that too once.
