    That's not me, Dave. They didn't seem to think much of my hang glider time on the dunes at Kill Devil Hill--finally did let me ride on the tow boat, but just as ballast to keep the bow down. They were polite about it, though, and pretended that I was being somewhat more useful than a big stone.

    More gadgets than you realize Dave. There is a VSI to assist in detecting thermals and even a ballistic chute! There is also a knife to cut the tow line in case of release failure and a storage 'place' to put your water proof camera.<br /><br />Probably not enought gadgets to satisfy the professor though.

    Did a lot of hang gliding in the 70's and 80's out in California.<br />I still have my last glider in the hanger.
