Description: Bill Widden requisitioned a SeaRey from the Jax Squadron today. He escaped with it over the St. Johns River, triumphantly claiming it for the Central Florida SeaRey Clan. It can be seen now at its new home at X04, the Orlando Apopka Airport.

Bill is not a new comer. He owned the very first SeaRey, model A-1. It had a 65 hp Rotax that powered it past all the old Bucs. The airplane weighed way less than 800 pounds dripping wet. He flew it all over the state showing it off.

Yours was pretty tempting, Randy, sitting there in an open hangar. Good thing there were no extra CFSC pilots skulking around!

Not to worry mate, with Randy Wilder bringing his pretty bird on line, the North Florida Squadron will soon be clouding the skies again! I'm hearing that PA will have to ramp up production to cover all the NFS orders! Sorry to see Tom's bird go south, but happy Randy's got his goin'
