Description: While watching the beach repairs from a safe distance I got to quietly watch the far away cumulus building in the late afternoon. Soon, however, a water ski boat zoomed passed. Then it came by a second time danger close. The large wake was beating up the repair crew on the beach.

When the boat stopped to pick up a downed skier, I taxied over. In a very polite manner I asked if he could avoid rocking the beach for a few minutes. I was told in no uncertain terms that we were trespassing and he would ski where ever he d*** well pleased! Polite discourse was not an option for the boat crew. Fortunately while we were engaged in verbal sparing, Kerry finished his inspection and we left the lake to its would be exclusive owners. For now.

This encounter made me all the more appreciative of the next door neighbors that want a seaplane base.
