Description: The Grand Canyon and its restricted airspace was just up and around the bend. I was not worried about getting busted by the FAA, though, because there is an exception for landing at the mesa top airport 3 miles behind the airplane.

Dan another question I know you'll say I paranoy but you alone their with no fuel or failiure of any kind on this little green spot their, no cell, or any way to comunicate what are you chances...?

You sound as paranoid as I am, Bruno. I carried full survival gear, a satellite phone, and a 403 EPIRB (personal locater beacon). Now, in the case of a bear attack, I could only run away because I left the cannon gun at home (Southwest Airlines wouldn't let me carry it on board!).

    Ho, bears too...oups...
Her in Quebec too we are not allowed to carry guns, but we are allowed to carry a 22mm rifle for protection in case of emergency (survival).

Dan do you do this alone ?

Alone? Yes. Sadly, my reputation preceeds me and no one I know will fly with me.

No one wants to fly with you...! And you prefer to borrow the plane of a guy and this guy does not want to go with you and prefers to give it to you....hahahah

Strange, but true. The owner said he had to work for a living. A pretty meager excuse, eh?.
