Description: The Kerr Reservoir loomed ahead where the Canadian would disappear into the Arkansas River. I wanted at least one splash into the river that wasn’t bloated by a dam. A bit of an opportunity appeared just before the Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge. Dodging tree trunks and sand bars, I settled down for a lunch snack in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains.
