I prefer the blue RHS. But this is probably because it looks like my airplane.
Lower blues are OK and should reflect the UV and heat damage better. Did you know that Diamond aircraft doesn't use any 'colour', other than white on its horizontal surfaces for the DA20, DA40 etc. I heard the above explanation at the factory.
The other ones look too much like Dennis YELLOW. It's ok, but its too flashy for me. That Dennis is another character though.

Bruno, I like top right and bottom right best. The only problem with white wings is that the bugs show.

Lee, I chose those colours so you won't hit me while we're on the way for that proverbial hundred-dollar hamburger.

UV and heat should not affect the fabric areas.
This problem is primarily a thin composite one..

John I understand, Wings are fabric and it is protected from UV with paint, and the color white will repell heat... But what do you mean by thin composite ?

What I mean is that the thin wings (composite-over-foam) of some composite aircraft seem to be compromised by dark colours. I'm not an expert so perhaps one of our more knowledgeable folk can help me out. I don’t believe the SeaRey’s fiberglass components are in any danger..

Maybe, but the fabric is another issue, John. Dark colored fabrics have had some trouble here in the subtropics.

The pinking tapes could shrink if the fabric got hot enough I suppose. What other issues are there?

It happened on my Maule with its dark blue fabric. Twice, so far.

Bruno - I like them all but the one's with the pylon painted are best. Frank Gracy pointed out that having the pylon a different color than the rest of the plane really changes the way you look at the whole image. I agree.

More color = more better. Too many mostly white airplanes out there. Anything in the top half works for me. Nice scheme. 'Fly up' has many meanings too.

Bruno, my grand daughter looked at my ideas, and said no grandpa, a sea plane should be blue. Put me down for the top two.
