Description: The day dawned perfectly for some demonstration flying. Diego and I went back to the airport. It was easily located by the entrance sign. Diego’s family donated the airplane to the airport authority. Diego noted his participation by pointing out a spot near the passenger door that he personally helped polish!

Diego also asked about landing at a 1400’ strip up on the side of a nearby mountain.

“What altitude?” I asked.

“About 2500’ asl.”

“How hot will it be today?”

“Only 22C.”

I allowed as how it might take a bit of practice before he should attempt a mountainside landing.
