I'll bet what water there is is cold. No wonder the geese and ducks aren't swimming in it.

I think all the geese are on my lake here in Maine, Lee (Little Pushaw). We get a huge flock of them, honking away for hours, each fall just before the lake freezes. We actually worry that they'll freeze in overnight.
