Description: There appears to have been some sort of alien invasion last night, or maybe a plague or something. There's this white stuff all over my lot this morning. I'll bet they don't have this stuff in Florida.

'I'll bet they don't have this stuff in Florida'<br /><br />Joke #1 - Because all the hurricanes in Florida blow all that silly white stuff back up North.<br />Joke #2 - That white stuff is mosquito food. Do you need some mosquitos?<br />Joke #3 - Look, hardened humidity.<br /><br />Florida is waiting for you Mr. Scearce. It's only a matter of time. At a certain age, it's required that you move here. Pack up now before the make you.

You're tempting me!! I'm just sticking close to the wood stove this morning. 75 degrees in here. And, yes, I do realize that if I were in Florida I could just step out side to warmer temps. But, alas, family is happy and I have something to complain about.

It looks like that in Richmond this morning, Dennis (except no water in the 'burbs):<img src="inline/20072-Bigfoots_0002_kq.jpg" alt="Bigfoots-0002-kq"><!-- >'"><br><font color=red size=6>' or &gt; missing in user HTML. Please fix the HTML.</font> -->      Attachments:

Dennis,<br /><br /><br />That must be 'lake effect' snow, cause down south here in Charlotte it is dry, sunny and 70 degrees!<br />

That's not really what you'd call 'getting snow', it's what we'd call up north a dusting. Snow is at least 6' or more. Be careful walking around with no tread, it's another high risk low frequency activity that could cause severe injuries.<br /> It's gusting over 30 mph today and high in the teens...our water is a little stiff today, can't wait til spring.

Aw, Steve, I grew up in Cleveland and lived in Lansing for several years--so I understand your problem. But a dusting now and then is good.

...well Don, I guess that explains the bare feet in the snow.
