Dennis;
That is a small PLC I use for gear-alarm. It sends a signal to a led if the rpm goes below a number and the flaps are inn. I have to activate the gear to get rid of the alarm.
This will happened only every second time in order to stop the alam when takeoff
Lars, what PLC do you use and how much is it? Is it difficult for a neofite to program?

    Jeff, it is made by the company Crouzet and called Millenium 3. As far as I remember it was about 150 USD. It has 4 analog input and 4 digital. 12VDC power supply. I used the Ray Allan indicator that gives 0-12V as input. If you need the program for it I can send you a CD, or program it, if you like.

    Lars, I'm a bit concerned over the remote compass location, I think you might find the compass will shift when the power load increases; you can mount that further back in the aircraft. This area of the panel is plagued with magnetic interference. But this is tech stuff... I stop now..LoL
