    Don, that looks more like an Osprey or fish eagle. The American Bold Eagles have very yellow talons and beaks and are much bigger. I have Eagles and Osprey around my property all day. Ospreys have the black band behind their eyes.      Attachments:

    You could be right, Russ. I didn't really get a good look at it and the photo isn't very sharp. But while standing on the beach I saw clearly several ospreys in flight and an eagle about 100 feet up in a tree on the bluff. I'll add a question mark to the title.
