I have to thank Susie and Burt Olsen for all their help.
Susie and Lou Ann worked hard for two days and made up a great dinner.
The flyers that braved the weather and dified the weather man included Phil Mendelson, Bill Furr, Dan and Ann Nickens in their Maule, Jim Walsh, Steve Eliason, Kerry and Richard Drewyer in Richard's beautiful new Searey, Paige flying Dan's Searey and Pete Putman in his Cub. The weather held off long enough that we had a great time and got everyone home before the rains came.
Thanks Russ and Lou-ann, we had a great time!

Don't forget Jen and his girlfriend, Russ, in the all German red striped 'Rey. Or Ren and his almost new yellow and blue toned SeaRey. And how about Rob Reiche and his classic aquamarine SeaRey? Russ' green machine was also at show central and out early on sky patrol. It was a fine showing for a rainy day.

Of couse the fliers could not equal the bravery and excellent hosting without equal offered by the Garners. Thanks again, guys, for the best splash in anywhere.

Hey, Russ, don't forget all the people who came in from the four corners of the earth--Canada, Germany, The Philipines, and even from as far away as Mount Dora. We all had a grand time!

I want thank you guys that normally fly in to the gathering that had to drive in because of the weather.
I know it wasn’t near as much fun for you to drive but you made the drive anyway.
Thanks again.

It was pretty weird parking in the front yard instead of the backyard this year but at least Jane and I got to stick around long enough to use Dan's raffle tickets to win all those great prizes! Thanks Russ and Lou (Too Low).

Sorry we couldn't make it this year. The weather was the first problem, but the second problem was that Bruce & I did not feel very good. He had a very bad Sinus Infection/head cold earlier this past week, and a few days later I got it also. Two months prior to that however I was having severe left sinus/teeth pain which was keeping my Blood Pressure up more then down. This happened last year and I had a cyst removed from the left sinus area. We both were still coughing, sneezing and feeling terrible by early Sunday. I will see my ENT later today and see if any cysts have resurfaced!! We are however going to try to make it to the Fantasy of Flight Splash-In on Thursday. By the way Russ and Lou Ann, we are still using the TV in our room off the kitchen, that I won at your Splash-In 2 years ago!! I also still use the cassette/cd player from 3 years ago too!! I almost forgot, the DVD player from I think 4 years ago......we are still watching our DVD's from that!
Judy & Bruce

G'day Russ and Lou-ann ..... looks like I missed a great splash-in. Pity last year was your year to have a breather from hosting this great gathering. However it was good to meet you and I hope to one day get to a Garner's.
