Description:
Parked outside at Cross City was a true homebuilt experimental airplane. It is handmade and fitted with a ½ VW engine. The builder hasn’t flown it yet. Any volunteer test pilots out there?

With a fully symetrical wing, I wonder if he plans to do aerobatics with it.

I'm no engineer, but jeez.
Thats a lot of dihedral if he intended aerobatics.
It looks like a fairly fast wing though. Gotta wonder how those Azuza wheels will hold up to fast runway speeds. At 40mph I have yet to see one not wobble and shake.
Do you think he's gonna get any thrust with only 3 inches of prop extending past the cowl? Might hafe done better with s reduction drive VW and a bigger prop.
I'm not flying it. Personally, I don't even want to watch. But then again, see my first line - what do I know!

True, but some tests are harder than others. This looks like a differential equations test.

More like a partial differential.
