Description: Here we are crossin the sea bethween Finland and Sweden. I have made this trip several times with land planes and even I still am under testflight period (total time at this time 14 hours) I felt more confident than before. Must be something to do with 'boat on board'.

    This is a lovely, subtle shot, Markku, and one of my favorite ways to look at the world--off the wing of a SeaRey. <br /><br />And it is very comforting to know that the airplane is a boat. (But it's a hard boat to paddle.)

    What is the distance over the sea from Sweden to Finland and how long did it take?

    Well, the arkipelago and open sea between Finland and Sweden is total about 100 NM in that route that I took (EFIK-EFMA-ESKB). But the open sea crossing is only about 30 NM.
