    Perhaps because the digital film is free and I can take lots of shots!? Here is another looking to the east. Today the wind blown smoke obscures most of Lake Tahoe and we can't see the far shore.      Attachments:

    Density altitude 8500 feet, 3-4 knots headwind, 1416lbs water takeoff weight, time 32 seconds. On another lake today with density altitude 8530 feet, 5-7 knots of headwind, 1380 lbs water takeoff gross weight, time was 22 seconds.

    Great shots John<br />By the way I have a Flying Dentist meeting next week at the Embassy Suites in Lake Tahoe. Unfortunately I am traveling to it by commercial air. So if you have an empty seat and the weather is good let me know. I have some free time during the meeting and would love to see the sights in your pictures in person.
