Description: You know your luck is holding when the locals volunteer a courtesy van to use for the evening. It came complete with a B-24 mural on the back window.

Tullahoma was a base for B-24’s in WWII. My grandfather was a mechanic at nearby Smyrna Army Airfield during the war. As I sat on his back porch building a plastic model, he told me he saw a lot of B-24s in training crash and burn. A few minutes later a bee stung me on the nose and my B-24 model crashed to the concrete!

This one will fly as long as the old van holds out.
