Did you stay at the resort? Was there beachfront parking for SeaReys?

At Dutch John airstrip (33U) there are 3 tiedowns on the asphalt and several more in the grass. The marina is on the south side of the reservoir between the airstrip and the resort. The resort caters to rafters and fishermen and the Utah state record for lake trout, rainbow and some other trout were taken from this reservoir and are stuffed and hung on the office wall in the restaurant. Rooms were $109 with free pickup at the airstrip, which is about 10 minutes from the resort. There are ample beach spots, along the 51 mile length of the reservoir mostly on the northern half. Here is a Google map weblink.

John that airfield looks way to short for the SeaRey. You obviously opted for the water!
