In a return to a treasured past tradition we are inviting all to the Searey Oshkosh BBQ on Thursday, July 31st at 6:30 in its usual place by the “fire pit” at the Seaplane base, hosted by Kerry Richter, Dan Nickens, John Dunlop, Darrell Lynds. As usual there will be great company, great food, good times but this year also major announcements and open discussion about our great little airplane, its founders and its path into the future. I can’t think of any more fitting place than over a hamburger and a cold one. Be a part of it folks and FLY ON OVER!

Sorry I missed hooking up with all the SeaReyers, but had to leave Thursday morning. Starting at 0630, I still missed my flight by about 15 minutes. I kinda had to stay at the main show area because the ABS BBQ was Tuesday night at 5:30 and the Presidents reception was Wed. at 6. <br /><br />After the reception and 3 mile walk back to the car, I decided to stop by the Hilton for a drink. Glad I did, 'cuz I ended up spending an enjoyable couple hours drinking with the likes of Kermit Weeks, Edsel Ford, Brent Blue and some other guy. I don't see a way to post the lousy camera phone picture, but if I can't post it here I'll post it in a new thread.
