Description: It is great to have in-laws who have private SeaRey-welcoming lakes. With a crowd of Tim's in-laws and friends looking on I made a spectacularly bad arrival. Taxied up on the beach and almost couldn’t stop because the throttle caught my pants leg. Geez!

Dan, I seriously doubt that you know what a 'seriously bad arrival' is.

Maybe not 'seriously' in terms of having to go swimming, Frank, but 'sadly' in having to pull into shore to a welcoming crowd, some of whom were serious aviators, with only a lame story about crosswinds and rotors from the trees.

Serious aviators? Maybe - but you were aviating and they were watching. Fun is way more important than perfection and you had fun all locked up.

Dan/Tim, What are the dimensions of this little sanctuary?

the lake in the middle of the picture is 1900'x300' (the far end is 200' wide), the lake on the right side of the
picture is 1700'x200'. both were built for competition waterskiing. greenville, nc is 70m east of raleigh-most
people confuse it with greenville, sc.

What a great place for a Searey, land in any direction, no obstruction, no speed boats wakes and a beach all around. What more would a searey owner want!
