Description: My sight seeing was greatly constrained by the new operational realities. The airplane was slow and wouldn’t climb well. Though the engine was running fine, I diverted course as required to keep over terrain that would be suitable for a precautionary landing. I made an exception to check out the curvaceous and aptly named Eel River.

    Yes, Bruno, it is a compulsion. The camera was put away, though, until I finally realized the airplane wasn't going to fall out of the sky!
