Description:
As the marine fog started to wash up against the shoreline, the clouds started to drop in on us. The view to the west coast wasn’t looking so rosy now.
“Why couldn’t the weather briefer see this on satellite?”
“Well, duh, the overlying clouds are too thick! Don’t worry about the briefer. What you see is what you get and this is developing into a prickly situation. Okay, so where do you go when the engine quits?”
“Down.”
“Into that soup?”
“I think I can still see the waves.'
“Yeah, when you’re looking down through the thin layer. Wait until you get down into it. The view won’t be nearly so soothing.”
“Maybe not, but it looks pretty from this angle. Just have some faith and trust Peli get us through.”
'Harumph. 'Trust but don't do anything stupid' is the best policy.'
