Description: Bleached white tree trunks were strewn across the beach like a graveyard piled with whale bones. Red jasper has been reported in the beach gravels: an ornament for their tomb.

    Great pics...and great narrative Dan. You lucky bugger...what a wonderful world we live in and you get to see it up close. Thanks for sharing.<br /><br />We used to have a TV program here in Canada on CBC...your PBS...called the Beach Combers. This old fart had a tug and went up and down the Pacific Coast salvaging washed up logs. Kept him in beer and girls. What more can a man ask for ?
