Description: Looking out the left window was plenty scary. Looking ahead didn’t look all the much better.

“This would be a fine time to turn around.”

“Let’s go a bit further and see how low the clouds are. We can follow the road out of town. If things get worse, we can always turn around and go west to get out of it.”

“We can go west if we’re still down in the open valley. That won’t be an option when we get into the hills.”

“We won’t go into the hills if the clouds are too low. Let’s take a look anyway. That will be better than sitting in a hotel.”
