“You don’t want to know how in the ancient days the lake was as sweet as honey?”

“Honey?”

“Yup. This was a regular Native Garden of Eden. Bees were the size of bears, then, and made their honeycomb nests along the shores of the nectar filled lake. But the big bees got greedy. They sucked out so much water that all the fish died. The god of good water was so mad he turned the honey to salt. The big bees all died because of their greed.”

“You know, you could be sued by Native Americans for Intentional Infliction of Irritating Tales.”
