Description: Formed in the mid 50's, The Golden Hawks first leader was F/L Fern Villeneuve. I had the pleasure of meeting him during an Air Force day at St. Hubert, Quebec ,1958,where I flew the Harvard solo portion of the airshow. I had to buy the beer that night to make ammends for my..'OH Shit ' maneuver during the mass pitch out and formation landing. Fern is now a member of the Prince Edward Flying Club.
