“Yup. It means some pretty cool scenery.”

“It would be more prudent to follow the main road down to I-70.”

“Wrong. This is a seaplane and seaplanes should be over water. Besides, Nine Mile Creek cuts through the West Tavaputs Plateau. Plateaus are flat, in case you missed out on geography class.”

“Plateaus are only flat if you fly over the plateau and not over their edges.”

“Hey, man, you gotta have some trust in Peli.”

“Peli is just fine. It’s you I’m worried about.”
