Dan, some of your pics belong in a museum of modern art.

Dan Nickens - Oct 17,2008 Viewers | Reply
A museum? Oh, heavens no, Mark! Earth Art is everywhere you look. A SeaRey is the perfect viewing platform. While I do appreciate the modern stuff, I'm a big fan of the Mesozoic, Paleozoic and especially the Pre-Cambrian.

Are you sure this wasn't your cheerios bowl this morning?

Dan Nickens - Oct 17,2008 Viewers | Reply
Cheerios, huh. I didn't know you could get chocolate cheerios. Maybe in Minnesota, yah? I'll have to order some and check it out, Tom.

And what do you make of those straight lines? I figure the farm manager put those on first. The hired help just filled in the blanks.

Gotta be an easier way to hold down hay--if hay needs holding.

A customer of mine has made a great living taking these pictures. Alex MaClean, if you can get your hands on any of his books they are excellent coffee table type.

www.landslides.com

    Hi Mike

Hope you are doing well. Thanks for the last oil change. The new book is now out and in a second printing in France.

The picture in question:
It is a sewage treatment pond in Devils Lake ND, a rubber lattice keeps surface duckweed evenly dispersed. A tractor is harvesting the duckweed - for more details see my first book LOOK AT THE LAND page 42-43.

Who are you using these days for avionics?

Best,

Alex

Alex S.
