Description: The water in Lake Tahoe has it its only outlet in the Truckee River, which ends up here in Pyramid Lake, Nevada about 30 nm northeast of Reno to evaporate in the desert. As it is entirely on the Paiute Indian reservation you must get permission from the chief to splash in here.

Thank you John! I could never remember exactly where it happened before and now you've told me. I vividly remember chasing some cows <25 agl in a C-130 at along the edge of this lake. That was as a 23 year old enlisted mechanic sitting behind the engineer too stupid to say anything. It was definitely a 'watch this' moment.
