“Really? Maybe you would have seen the leak when you stopped for fuel.”

“Maybe, or maybe I’d have been in a hurry because of the delay.”

“Maybe there’s a lesson there too. Even if you hadn’t seen the leak, you would have had plenty of fuel.”

“And plenty of fuel with a leak could have led to an in-flight fire. You just never know how bad it could have been.”

“No. All you can do is play the probabilities. It’s a good thing you’re not a poker player.”

“Oh, I dunno. My luck is running really good.”
