    Bummer. Of course, you might suspect engine trouble... But you probably couldn't do that every day. Maybe the Seaplane Pilots Association could help you request a change in their policy.

    My plan is to get 40 hours on her then take her to Lake Hattie in WY, Flaming Gorge in UT, or visit my grandson in NV via Lake Powell &amp; Lake Mead. Then I'll re-join the SPA and start pushing the issue during the winter when the lakes here are all ice anyway. But I might just suspect carb ice once first!
