Hey Dave I'm getting closer so you'll have less chances to slip away on the next invitation...hehehe
This is Lac des deux Montagne its where St-Laurence river and Ottawa River meets and then separate to Riviere des Milles Iles and Riviere des Prairies.
Imagine I'll be able to bring France to work by boat or my Searey to her shool, its an old boat house warehouse that has been rebuilt so she is right on Riviere des Prairies shore...
But need to sell our house first, thats why I work to finish it so no time to loose, my searey is not ready yet too...
I'll probably publish our house on the internet and say its available in May 2009 so this way I'll put the chances on my side.
ANY BUYERS HERE ? Attachments:

Lac Theodore will not be the same without you and France. The new location...right across from Iles Bizard is going to be a lot different ....especially in the spring with the annual flooding. The summer will really be interesting....4 miles east of the ' Nude ' beach at OKA. Was it France's idea to move ??

Nude Beach?! Guess we'd better plan a Gaggle..

Bruno Grondin - Jan 13,2009 Viewers | Reply
Dave France dont know for the nude beach YET...hehehe
I know its a 1 20 year flooded but worth it otherwise we could not afford a nice place like this.
I know this place real well I did Catamaran for over 10 years their.
John if it take only me naked on the beach is it ok too for gaggling...hehehe

So the good thing about it is that I'm closer to you all and we will be able to accomodate many Seareys at once, life is short and I want to have fun before my expiration date arrives....hehehe

Is it going to be a problem being so close to YUL and YMX ?
Transponder and code req'd or is there a VFR corridor like the one the guys use to exit the Commodore YC/ Seaplane base?
I used to sail my CL-11 out of Hudson and would spend many pleasant hours off and on the beach at OKA. Are you sure France didn't spend August afternoons there?

Bruno Grondin - Jan 14,2009 Viewers | Reply
I was shure that she would be recognised I told her to be careful with fellows like you...hehehe
Yes Dave their is a VFR corridor here is the VTA picture.
No, wont be a probleme I went in it couple time and now even better they removed the controllers at YMX and now its (Mirabel Radio) YMX just change their restricted zone and I have my mode C transponder just newly certified and calibrated.
And this area is so so so wonderfull...ouf I'll post some pics I took this fall. Attachments:

    Hi Bruno:

I too spent many many days racing cats in that area (and many other places as well). Montreal used to be a 'hotbed' of excellent Tornado sailors.
Now I am happy just to fly..... I am much too old and lacking in conditioning to try to muscle a tornado around a race course. (g)
I look forward to visiting you this summer.
Best,
Larry

This place makes me more and more in the mood of happiness....
