Description:
“I’ve never flown in a little airplane.” Sheepish grin. “I’m afraid of heights.”
That was a surprise. Carrey married my nephew last year. She has proven herself to be a real trooper: a first class fishing lady, huntress, camper, sports-lover, and all around fun person.
“Fine. We’ll fly low.”
Poor Carrey. She married into a crazy family. At a simple family birthday celebration she found herself suddenly faced with a critical, fateful decision. Should she go for a ride in my dad’s patched together and obviously unseaworthy boat in a lake full of alligators or go fly with a scraggly pilot dressed like a homeless person in a little tube and fabric airplane?
She made the obvious decision: she got in the airplane. Her misgivings quickly turned to smiles. “We are going to get one of these,” she told her husband when we got back (he miraculously survived the trip in my dad’s boat without getting wet or greasy).

The *just got married* part is scary, not the plane ride!

Total bliss....and to top it off, a Kubota tractor to ride on.

That's a hard working little tractor, Dave. It is used to recover SeaReys that miss the ramp. When I got the little thing, I also got a John Deere t-shirt from a nephew that said, 'Women love BIG tractors.' If I could have caught him I'd have given him a good beating.
