Who needs floats? Modify the lower hull for a boathull, make the gear repositionable and give her a sliding canopy. She's got the perfect tail already.

I think (and have thought for some time) that it would be easier to just modify the center wing section of the Searey like that of the Air-Cam and then add two 4 cycle 80 hp HKS engines (because they weigh less than comparable rotax's). Though, the tail would probably have to be modified slightly and Viola - you have a 'TwinRey'
