    I've flown right over that spot a couple of times in the SeaRey, Steve--but only when the water was much, much wetter. It looks a bit spooky in your photo.

    Having lived in this area Don, I'm sure you know the Lakes create their own weather. This day it had warmed significantly from the weeks of below zero and there was a little fog forming out over the Bay, especially looking at the angle in this picture. The day after this picture it warmed to almost 50, just like that most of the snow melted. That's were the old saying in Michigan came from, 'if you don't like the weather were having wait a minute and it'll change'.
