    Great pictures, Tony. I'll bet you gave those kids a real flying bug. Several people have told me that they saw me out flying Saturday but alas, I was holed up in a class room all day!!

    Midtown is one of our favorite places to eat on LKN. I just haven't search hard enough for a good beaching spot. The Lake Norman Motel, just past Slanting Bridge Road is another good place. I've landed in that cove but couldn't find a safe place to leave Sammie. I hear Midtown Sundries is plane friendly but haven't tried that. You are right about this summer and the influx of boats. Especially on weekends - very rough water and mucho boat traffic.
