Description: Here is a great place to stop for a bite. Harbor town is a nice little place on the western end of Hilton Head Island. Has a lot of nice restaurants and shops. Tried to get Don and Bill to stop here for lunch, but Don didn't want to do Salt Water.

Looks inviting. So where do you recommend eating there? And what else is available in the area? Looks like a great day trip from Jacksonville with the wife.

Randy, there are about half a dozen restaurants there. Our favorite is the outdoor cafe near the center. There are also lots of little shops with artsy stuff, toy stores, nick knacks, and a very nice ice cream parlor. There is a harbor with fuel, but it is only accessible from the water and not Searey friendly. If you carried a gas can, you could walk over and get some.

Thanks for the info. Will definitely have to check it out. Lynne isn't into local splashing but a flight along the coast, beach homes, outdoor cafes, ice cream, shopping... now that she enjoys! And when she's happy....
