Congratulations on a great flight and welcome home! I couldn't have found a better new owner if I had tried. She still is prepared to give you and David some great times. HAVE FUN!

Thanks, Jay, we had so much fun. You and Abbie are more than welcome to come down to Orlando and fly your bird any time. I would love to come back and spend a weekend snooping around Poplar Grove...awesome place

Daniel-Nice aircraft.Colors resemble my SR. One little friendly advise. I noticed your fuel plastic gas tanks on board. Make sure gas smell does not fill the cabin. I did the same several years back and had to give them away at another airport. After a while I was feeling psychodelic, like a Hippy in Woodstock. Danger-Danger.

Really?? Hmmmm Thanks for the advise. I was cautious to make sure that didn't happen...but I'm not going to do it anymore because we didnt even use them (most airports we stopped at had fuel). No point in taking any chances.

I always keep a five gallon tank in my plane.
You never know when you might need it, and this has paid off for me one Sunday when I was bucking 30mph headwinds and the airport I stopped at was closed - no self serve.
They had left the keys in the courtesy car though, so my 5 gal and two trips to the local gas station had me safely back in the air.

I never had a smell problem, except maybe when the plane was sitting in tha hanger and I firs got there. Once at taxi speed or higher the plane is drafty enough to remove any gas fumes.

'I never had a smell problem'...

Tony, that's good to know. You can climb into my plane any time.
